Bringing together stone and nature in a vibrant and dynamic narrative to inscribe an open public space, the installation Crispr - Locus transforms spatial resonances into a stage for social encounters, an emotional observation point of the beauty and power of water, still hidden by walls and the complex of buildings. It is a sensory immersion in pre-adaptation as a reflection on the passage of time.
The features of Crispr - Locus are revealed by its sometimes latent rules and principles that, if written in computational form, generate non-linear geometries, functions, and interchangeable and non-adaptable relationships.
The work was created for the Italian Pavilion on the occasion of the 17th International Architecture Exhibition.
