Aèrio is a prototype for public space that acts as a device capable of covering urban surfaces to provide scenarios of co-dependence between living systems. The project has the ability to dynamically absorb CO2 and filter air through the performance textile material, human occupation, and the surrounding ecology.
The work was created for the Italian Pavilion on the occasion of the 17th International Architecture Exhibition.
